FAITH IN THE FUTURE
THE FAITH IN THE FUTURE PLANNED RENOVATIONS UNDERWAY - The first phase, which represented ten percent of the project, focussed on a handicap ramp between the Chapel and the Sanctuary, expansion of the stairwell adjacent to the Chapel, expansion of the children’s area on the second floor, and small renovations to the gym. During this phase, disruptions of church activities was expected to be minimal. Plans and specifications for phase two were completed, and construction should began in early spring 2012.
Update: June 6, 2012
Phase A was completed and the adjusted contract (guaranteed maximum price plus change orders) came in at $424,305. The final cost to the church totaled $378,911, resulting in a "savings" of $45,394. Now on to Phase B! As soon as permits were issued by the city, we started on the next part of the renovations and construction.
